Anyone wishing to take their child out of school for holidays must complete a ‘Request for Leave of Absence Form'
This form must be completed at least 4 weeks in advance of the leave.
Please note as from September 2017 an unauthorised absence may incur a penalty notice.

Reporting a Pupil Absence
If a pupil is unable to attend, parents should telephone the school by 10.00 am on the first day of absence and every day of absence following that.
If no contact or message is received from parents the school will send a text to confirm the absence.
When the child returns to school he/she should bring a note explaining the reason for absence as, by law, the school must account for all absences.
If the child is going to be absent from school for a medical appointment, an appointment card or medical evidence as proof of appointment is required.
